Network messages managed by the Media Server

The are 2 types of messages generated by the media server:

- Broadcasted messages via UDP and targeted to all display devices on the network

- Unicast messages sent to individual display devices to update their frame buffer or to manage the device parameters. The unicast messages are sent using TCP connections, it guarantee sequential delivery and reliability of the transfered of messages

Because unicast messages are mainly used the traffic generated is very optimal and the load on receiver is as minimal as possible.
